Mostly yes: from 2020–21 to 2025–26, D1 went from 6'5" (77.1") to 6'5" (77.5") — about 0.4" taller; D2 went from 6'4" (75.8") to 6'4" (76.1") — about 0.3" taller; D3 went from 6'3" (74.8") to 6'3" (74.9") — essentially unchanged. Computed from 83,239 player-seasons with a listed height.
How many college basketball players come from outside the US? The international pipeline, by level
7.2% of D1 players list a home outside the US; 4.0% of D2 players list a home outside the US; 2.0% of D3 players list a home outside the US (2025–26 rosters, among players with a home on record). D1 conference average heights run from 6'4" (Northeast Conference) to 6'6" (Big East Conference), a 2.1" spread against a 2.5" average gap between D1 and D3. Computed from 16,149 player-seasons on 2025–26 rosters.
